James Logan
James (“Jimâ€) Logan graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana – Champaign in 1967 and from the University of Missouri – Columbia School of Law in 1972. His law school education was interrupted by service in the U.S. Army in Vietnam. He served in a forward fire control base in the Khe Sanh area as a non-commissioned Artillery Fire Control Officer. He was in combat for 13 months where he lost many friends to enemy fire.
Jim was a trial lawyer all of his professional life. From 1972 to 1989 he practiced with renowned trial attorney Jim Koester. In 1989 he took up practice with Daniel J. McMichael at the firm of Kopsky Vouga McMichael and Logan. From 1991 until his death in 2015, Jim and Dan were partners at the firm of McMichael and Logan in St. Louis, Missouri. Throughout his career, Jim tried hundreds of cases to verdict within the State of Missouri, securing many favorable awards for his clients.
